For hardcore gamers I would buy an 865PE motherboard because on-board video won't cut it and there is no need to pay extra for on-board video BUT;

This motherboard is very suitable for office use. The graphics on-board is very sufficient for office use unless you use 1600x1200 financial full colored tables all the time on dual monitors!

Or if you are a home user which does a lot of stuff on their computer but not into gaming, it is a good board for you. Don't worry; if you have an urge to play and on-board won't cut it for the game you need to play, you have an option to hook up another VGA Card to the 8x AGP Slot. Not for my taste but if you have chassis have a glass side cover, and/or you have neon lightning this board is as colorful as a carnival.

This motherboard has LAN for network or Internet broadband connection, 6 channel audio, Firewire for your DV camera and lots of USB connections. The chipset is rock stable. High overclocking capability proves the overall stability of the motherboard. If you don't need RAID capability like me or you are not a hardcore gamer for these capabilities the price is really good too.
