Many features from one board to another are very similar but vary in the total package and the performance differences are never really that far apart so the total amount of features are what separate the Award winners from the other boards. The 8PE667-Ultra comes fully loaded with an abundance of built on goodies that should satiate the enthusiast and gamer who demands the most on their motherboard.

Gigabyte has once again made a solid and performance worthy board. Stable and compatible is a good way to describe the 667-Ultra as it gave us no problems here in the lab. I just received the 8PE667-Ultra 2 board which differs from this board by virtue of its on-board SATA controller, beyond that it is very much like this board and should do well.

If you are looking for a good priced motherboard that includes many bells and whistles without sacrificing quality or stability I can whole-heartedly recommend this board. I believe you can pick one of these boards up for right around a hundred US dollars. A good job was done in the implementation and manufacturing of the 8PE667-Ultra. I give it a positive two thumbs up.
