Motherboard: ASUS P4B533-E Review :: Performance Testing
Stability & CompatibilityYou can review our stability/compatibility testing methods here. Test System
I ran into no issues with stability or compatibility on this board. PerformanceHere is where motherboards show their true colors and where the P4B shines as it is the second fastest board ever tested for the P4 platform here in the lab. We are currently in the process of moving away from the older tests and moving into the future by way of using the latest testing software available. This was a time consuming adventure, which involved a few unconditional formats, reinstalls and retests as the board had to be tested in both the new and old format for accurate comparisons. There are many tests available on the market currently but many are synthetic and not real world evaluations so we do not include those in our test format. Many sites use only graphs to back up there testing that in my opinion leaves too much room for tester intervention to be kind and makes the whole review questionable as to its test scores validity. This is why we use only real world tests and post the actual test results instead of making up pretty pictures. For comparisons click here! I also tested this board in both its default and 15% overclocked state that can be validated in the 3Dmark and CPUID shots shown here. The motherboard performed flawlessly and stably through all of the tests, even overclocked by a good margin, which shows the boards amazing flexibility.
