Stability & Compatibility

You can review our stability/compatibility testing methods here.

Test System

I encountered zero problems or errors with the A7V333 until I overclocked it to 144MHz FSB at which time the system started showing sighs of instability such as sudden restarts or complete Windows lockups forcing a hardware restart. All the system tests passed fine up to a 143MHz FSB and the computer ran very solid up to that frequency. There is no need to worry about stability with this motherboard, as it was very solid in this department.

Performance

Not quite the highest scoring performer of all time but it does come close, as it took second place in this arena. There were some tests where this board kicked ass on its peers. Quake III for example was chewed up and spit out by this motherboard and to date is the highest score we have seen yet.
