This is a hybrid board. For servers, on-board simple graphics, no AGP slot, and no sound works better. If we are looking look for a cheap server we would like to see integrated SCSI RAID and dual or gigabit Ethernet connections on it. For customization we would like to have a board without any on-board stuff other than simple video, this is a great board for this option, you may plug your 64 Bit monsters.

As a workstation, if you are a power user, you cannot fit your fancy cards in the 3 Standard PCI Slots or 2 PCI slots if you are plugging in that 2.0 product. If USB 2.0 and networking would have been on the motherboard, it would be a good choice. If you are a standard AutoCAD or design center user, you don't need that fancy stuff so you may be interested.

I think separating those product lines and producing separate boards for workstations and servers would work better. But it is cheap, it supports dual CPU, and it works fine. You have to consider that too.
