MSI is no stranger to Motherboards.org, as many of you who follow the site know as we have done many reviews on their products over the last few years. MSI is usually able to keep ahead of the market by being very aggressive in both their R&D and their marketing strategy, a fact that helps them in their continued growth and expansion into new markets.

SiS it seems has finally risen above its past downfalls and come up with a viable chipset in the form of the SiS 645, which is well on its way to becoming one of the most popular chipsets for the Intel Pentium 4 platform. We have reviewed a couple of other boards based on this chipset and so far the results have been very favorable.

Once again MSI comes at us with their board based on the new SiS chipset called the 645-Ultra333 that is aimed at the low budget market. Compared to other boards we have seen based on this chipset the 645-Ultra comes across as a little light in the features department, especially when compared to the SOYO P4S Dragon. To see how well this board stacks up dollar for dollar though, read on and take a look at the entire review, and then make your own decisions.
