This is not the fastest board I have seen as the test results were somewhat in the middle of the road but the motherboard has many feature options that make it a viable product for your money anyways. DDR333 memory is a bit pricey at the moment and that is a minor drawback because like the wind that could change in any minute as RAM prices fluctuate on a daily basis.

Is this a great leap from the KT266A chipset boards? I would have to say no on that point but if you want the latest features this board has got them all. If you are happy with your 266A board you may want to wait for the BIOS and drivers to mature before venturing out and buying one of these. Remember the KT333A will come out shortly with all the improvements and upgrades intact and that is something to think upon. MSI did a good job with what they had to work with and like most releases the true performance peaks will be seen as updates become available. This is a performance moderate but heavily feature filled product that should catch on with the consumer market.
