The Best of VIA: KT266A Motherboard Roundup :: Performance

If you would like to see our platform and test settings we detailed them on this page. We'll update it frequently for new tests and hardware. I wanted to show 3Dmark 2001 scores without making a chart because this way it is easier to see different tests in it. I ranked them faster to slower. For other scores I prepared performance comparison chart and you can click and see the real snapshots from tests for each board. This became a tradition for this site. I added an nForce board to show how it performs in comparison.

As you can see on the charts, ranking is like the same for all of them. Soltek is the best performer and the nForce is the second. I don't understand why other sites says KT266A is faster. When Doc told me his results are different and nForce is a good performer, I added this board to the test. Doc was right. But compatibility issues for nForce is still there so I prefer KT266A for now.
