Stability

I encountered no system errors while working with and testing the XP-333-R it ran like a champ and offered no user resistance to software or hardware when ran in the normal mode. Overclocking stability depends heavily on the components and cooling solutions implemented in your system.

Compatibility

Other than certain memory not quite up to speed at 333MHz the XP333-R showed strong points in working with other hardware and software and gave me no BSOD or other incompatibility errors when using this motherboard. Compatibility is very good with the XP333-R.

Support

To test how well Iwill responds to random questions and technical support I sent an email to their general technical support and called and left a message on their tech answering service. My email was answered within a day but I was never called back from my phone message. Get it together over their people was my first thought as after all a good product deserves good service and the phone staff in the Iwill technical department seems to be lagging over there. Prompt email service was obtained so all is not completely sour over there.

Conclusion

I know that the people over at Iwill were busting their collective heads together just to get this thing market ready but the truth is I do not think this motherboard will make quite the market impact they were hoping for. Market delays due to stable PC2700 SDRAM issues held up the boards initial release and with VIA's new KT333 chipset motherboards to hit any day now will offer stiff competition for the new DDR333 frontier that is slowly becoming a reality on the market.

As far as being the fastest motherboard on the market currently that it is not. This is a well thought out and implemented motherboard it just seems to need a little more work in its drivers and BIOS to make it a more effective product. The motherboard has outstanding overclocking features that should appeal to the enthusiast's crowd and make a name for it. My only drawback is that Ali will once again not fully support their chipset and improve their performance by continuing to try and improve it, before just making another chipset to replace it. Overall a very nice attempt from Iwill that I hope pans out well for them in the overclockers market. One thing I have to say though was what a valiant effort.
