Motherboard: Iwill XP333-R Review :: Performance
Test System
I was a little surprised at the performance levels the XP33-R attained and was really expecting much better scores all around on this motherboard. The board ran well and had no hiccups or errors but just did not score very highly on the test runs. The Specview weighted geometric scores are what got my attention though as these scores were way under par than the average motherboard which is between 60-80 points on almost all the boards we have tested. The vertical sync was turned off for all tests but I could not get solid results with Specview even after several attempts. The motherboard also ran a little slow on SYSmark 2001 but showed about average scores in the 3Dmark 2001 test scores which brings the board right about in the middle of the road performance wise. Remember to take into consideration that this is a brand new board that was relatively rushed to the market and driver and BIOS updates can turn the performance around by quite a large margin. We will just have to wait and see what the future brings us but Iwill is known to be on top of things so the wait probably will not be a long one before we start seeing new stuff for the XP33-R. Overall it is about dead center in performance for AMD based motherboards. Sysmark3DMark
