Iwill has been making steady progress in the motherboard industry since their onset in 1989. Iwill was the first company to introduce on-board SCSI and DDR memory as a feature option on their motherboards. They have always strived to have an edge in one area or another in this field. Covering a vast array of platforms that includes chipsets from all the major players in the game makes them a very flexible company that usually has a motherboard in its line up that is the best in its class.
Ali chipsets are something that I have never been fond of. Ali and SIS seem to have a knack for making crap products that are both slow and not very compatible. When I was approached about the new XP333-R it was touted to me that is was going to be the overclocker king of king motherboards due to its many features and custom controlled BIOS options that supposedly insures maximum performance gains and greater stability. Needless to say I was expecting the absolute best motherboard for the AMD CPU in the form of the XP333-R. Can the new Ali Magik 1 chipset pull a rabbit out of its hat and beat the other arena champions the KT266A and the Nvidia N-Force based boards? See it all for yourself my friends, read on and check out the whole review.
