The memory tests in Sandra showed really low scores but all the other scores were way above par in that batch of tests. In the SYSmark 2001 tests the Asus board falls about dead at the top of the other boards in its same class. When talking about the scores differences we are talking about a few points here or there anyways so is not a bad thing even to be in the middle. In 3Dmark 2001 the board had very good scores and is at the top of its class as far as that test goes. All the performance tests ran fine the first time we ran them without any lock ups or blue screens to speak of.

As you can see the Asus board received a score of 175 the same as the Shuttle AK31A and the only board to score higher was MSI's Nforce chipset board that rated a score of 184. So far the Asus board shows to be just as fast as the Shuttle board one of the fastest KT266A motherboards available.

Here are the Sandra scores it scored well in every thing except memory performance.

The 3D scores were first rate and show the Asus motherboard to be excellent for the gaming crowd as well as the graphic designer due to both its high 3Dmark and SpecviewPerf scores.
