CPU: AMD's new Athlon XP CPU line :: Installation

There is nothing unusual about installation here. After applying a little Artic Silver paste and making a couple of turns with a screwdriver it is installed onto the motherboard. Check with your motherboards manufacturer to see if your board has a BIOS update that recognizes the Athlon MP CPU. If this is the case you will need to flash your BIOS to the latest available before the CPU will be recognized correctly on your board.
