SoundMAX currently has projects under way with various hardware and software developers such as Mediatek and Hercules who are working on the CNR card add on for motherboards that support it and has the additional features of adding six channel digital sound outputs for your system.

Sony entertainment is currently in the works with their incredible new game PlanetSide which utilizes SoundMAX technology for all of its in game sound and sound effects. The game looks feels and sounds extraordinary with very nice Doppler shifts creating a true life feel for the sound environment. You can really hear the difference when these features are fully taken advantage of things like footsteps, explosions and background sounds all get a very real and live effect when used properly.
