  • ATI Radeon HD 3870x2 card
  • Cooler Master V6 CPU cooler
  • Cooler Master GX 750W PSU
  • Intel X25-M 40GB SSD drive
  • WD Raptor 36GB SATA HDD
  • 2GB Crucial DDR3-2000 DDR3 memory

The system build serves several purposes, in this case confirming the long video cards and the concern I had with tall CPU coolers. The nForce 790i Ultra SLI motherboard installed without issues as it is a ATX form-factor motherboard. The Cooler Master V6 CPU cooler was a tight fit in this case, but fit without interfering with installation of the side panel.

The HD 3870x2 is a couple of years old now but is still a good card to show how long video cards would fit inside the case. The card fit without issue as to length and in fact there was room to install a smaller SSD drive in the same line as the video card. Installation of the drives was painless. We chose to install the Intel SSD drive into a floppy bay as few people use floppy disks anymore.

After removing the front cover of the case sliding the Optical drive into place was all that was required to install it except for flipping the lock. Inserting the WD HDD into the HDD rack, turning the key to the locked position, installing the PSU, attaching all the cables and we were done with installation. All in all, this case was easy to work with, and the rounded sides prevents cuts.
