Sapphire HD 5870 Eyefinity 6 Edition Video Card Review :: 3 and 6-monitor performance

To show performance in games I decided to use three of the DirectX 11 games we use in our test suite o show off the latest and greatest games; Dirt 2, Metro 2033 and Aliens Versus Predator. These games stress the system by using features like SSAO and Tessellation among other features. These games play well on the HD 5870 card. The resolution on Metro 2033 had to be set at 3840x1600 due to performance issues and screen issues with six monitors and 5760x1080 on three monitors. Note performance without AA and AF should be pretty close between the two resolutions, as actually the total number of pixels drawn is very nearly the same. You can see a video of our Six-monitor setup here.
