The A-DATA drive comes in a box with the USB 3.0 cable and an SATA 2.0 cable all that is necessary to
connect the drive to a computer and get it running. As the SATA 2 interface is hot-swappable meaning you can install it while the system is running, and USB 3.0 devices can be installed instantly as well, there is no need to turn off the computer to get the drive running just plug it in the right port and off you go.
The drive itself is a black drive with the ADATA logo on the middle right of the drive top. The drive itself is 10x7x1 cm. This makes the drive 4 inches by 2.8 inches by .4 inches in dimensions. The drive is designed to fit in a standard 2.5” enclosure and has the screw holes to fit inside a SSD drive bay. The weight of the drive is 13 grams which is very light weight.

The right side of the drive has the new USB 3.0 connection. This is a two-pronged connector that is found on a USB 3.0 cable. The standard USB 2.0 cables will not fit on this connection, which necessitated ADATA including a USB 3.0 cable, as it is not widely available in computer stores as of yet. The rear of the unit has a 7-pin +15-pin SATA interface. A-DATA has also included the necessary SATAII cable to connect this drive to your computer.
