ATI launched their Evergreen family of video cards last year and are still the only video chip manufacturer with video cards that support DirectX 11 with NVIDIA’s GTX 480 and 470 cards not released as of yet. ATI has released the whole lineup of cards including the HD 5970 dual chip card, the 5870, the 5850, the 5770, the 5750 and will release the HD 5450 and 5350 very soon.

Micro-Star International or MSI is a Tier-1 motherboard manufacturer based in Taiwan that also manufactures video cards. MSI makes video cards on both NVIDIA and ATI chipsets. With the emergence of ATI as the only DX11 chip supplier on the market, MSI like many of the manufacturers has concentrated their products on ATI chips. The RADEON HD 5770 is the middle child of the HD 5xxx series. Cards based upon this chipset have proved very popular as they have high performance and DirectX 11 support. Today MSI is releasing their latest model the R5770 HAWK card.
