Having a separate compartment for the Power Supply is a great idea for improved air flow in the case. The advent of long PSUs with 1000W PSUs has caused some cases to not work with them as they overhang the area used for the DVD drive. Thermaltake’s PSU compartment is long enough for most PSUs with a 1000W Thermaltake ToughPower fitting easily inside the cover and being able to close.

PSU Cover
To install a PSU, you first need to take the cover off the PSU by pulling outward. Once that is done you need to remove two screws holding the power supply in place unhooking the hooks and removing the stops. Installing the PSU is almost the same as any other PSU install. Insert the PSU into the holder, screw it in and return the stops to their proper location. At this point return the holder to the PSU position and it is installed.
