XFX bundles their card in a black box with the words RADEON HD 5670 on the front cover. The XFX Play Hard logo is on the top center of the box with the primary features listed below the card name. The back of the card has a list of the key features and a short description of the features. Opening the box we find that XFX has put a tray on top with the Driver CD, the manuals and the Door Hanger. The card is below on a separate tray.

The Door Hanger has the slogan: “Don’t bother me, I’m Gaming” on it. It serves a second purpose, however. XFX offers 5-Star support for their video cards but to get that support you need to register the card online. The Door Hanger has the Serial Number of the card necessary to register it online. 5-Star support offers downloads to the best performing driver for the product, product-specific help pages, message boards, Live Help and a host other features to help you with your purchase.

ATI released a new driver along with the HD 5670 last week. This driver is a beta of the Catalyst 10.1 drivers which will be released this month to support this card. ATI HD 5xxx series cards have the ability to run anti-aliasing in Super-Sample mode, increasing image quality while reducing performance. The latest drivers have DirectX 11 games on the first screen to advertise games like Dirt2 and BattleForge that support DirectX 11. As ATI cards are the only ones available with support for the new API, this is great cross-merchandising.
