One of the things we like to do with our system builds is use as many components from the manufacturer in question as we can. In this case the SilverStone SST-ST1000-P 1000W PSU, and the NT06 Evolution CPU cooler were used. We also took a HD 3870 X2 which is typical of lengthy video cards on the market today. One note we used a HD 3650 and a HD 3870 X2 to show video card lengths.

Installation went without a hitch. The XFX nForce 790i SLI Ultra board is a full ATX board with three PCI Express x16 Generation 2 slots fit nicely into the FT02. The NT06 CPU cooler fit inside the case without issue as to the height limitation of the CPU Cooler (165mm). The installation of an DVD drive on the top 5.25” bay requires screws to be screwed in otherwise, there is a push button lock mechanism.

The HDDs are mounted in a HDD rack. Installation of a HDD is as simple as pulling out the HDD tray mounting the HDD onto the tray, screwing it securely in place and replacing the HDD tray back into the rack. The theme of this case is all about positive air pressure. The bottom fans take air from the outside and blow air upwards cooling the case components. There’s only one 120mm top fan that blows air down.
