Opening the case is a simple matter of removing the top of the case, removing four thumb screws from the top of the case and pulling out the side panels. This is a bit different from most cases due to the motherboard tray being in the vertical position. The right side panel of the case has a window. The left side is the normal blank black side. The inside of the case is lined with foam padding to reduce noise.

The motherboard tray is designed with several differently sized motherboards in mind. Keeping in mind the vertical nature of the motherboard tray you can install motherboards of the SSI CEB (Dual Xeon workstation boards), ATX and Mini-ATX size. Extended ATX motherboards are not supported but boards up to 11” in width are. Take note that the case can take 12.0” video cards.

The drive area consists of five 5.25” drive bays and five 3.5” drive bays in a HDD rack. The 5.25” drive bays have a push button lock that locks the drive into place. Installing a HDD requires removing the tray from the HDD rack inserting the HDD into the tray and replacing the tray back into the case. You should secure it in place with four type B screws. The HDD rack has five removable trays. There is also a 2.5” drive bay on the side of the case.

The Power supply is installed next to the motherboard in a vertical position. This requires the use of a PSU strap. To install a PSU you need to route the strap through the motherboard tray holes, install the PSU using the strap to hold the PSU into place and screw it into place with included screws. The bottom of the case has three 180mm fans blowing air upwards. When combined with a single fan blowing downwards more air is brought into the case than pushed out. . Secure the PSU via screws on top and you are done.
