Strangely enough I decided to put together an Intel system with the AMD Edition case. The reason being that most enthusiasts will want to use an Intel based system for their gaming needs. The components used are typical of a mid-range gaming system today with the 3670 being roughly equivalent to a 5470 on the ATI side of things.

Installation was a breeze especially with the wide open case as nothing was cramped about the design. One nice touch is the rounded corners of the metal. Sometimes you can cut your fingers when working inside a case and rounded corners alleviate this to a great extent. The spacing of the holes allowed for easy wire management.

Motherboard installation is simple as there is a paper with the markings for each type of motherboard designated by letters. The paper tells you which letters to use for a standard ATX motherboard, the Micro ATX boards and the E-ATX boards. Mount the stand-offs, remove the PCI slot covers, mount the motherboard and screw it in. It’s a very simple process for those with at least a minimal of technical abilities.

Installing the Hard disk is simple. Remove the HDD rack by opening the cover and sliding the HDD tray out of the rack. Insert the HDD into the rack, slide the HDD tray back into the rack and close the cover. After connecting the cables to the motherboard your HDD is installed. Installation of the ODD is also simple. Push the button on both sides of the ODD cover and pull out the cover. After removing the metal plate slide the drive into the bay and push the button locking it into place.
