Most people do not game 24/7 and use their mice for other tasks like scrolling up and down websites, or even just moving the mouse pointer. In these tasks, the 5600 DPI resolution is not necessary and the default 1100 DPI is sufficient for most users. I kept the default 1100 DPI with all the weights installed and after several hours of usage found the mouse to be effective. The Sentinel Advance mouse is a gaming mouse, however, and here is where the mouse shines. The ability to change the DPI with the push of a button and the resolution of the mouse meant that I had more control over the movement of my character in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 than ever before. The mouse was very comfortable and easy to change the setting to a different profile or higher resolution.
