ATI has partnered with Codemasters to offer a voucher for Colin McRae’s Dirt 2 game on many of the HD 5 series cards from different manufacturers. The Black Edition card comes with a voucher for the game that is set to be released for the PC on December 1st. This is the same kind of deal ATI got with the Half Life 2 coupon from years ago. Dirt2 is one of the first games to support DirectX 11.0.

The bundle itself is pretty comprehensive and includes the Door Hanger that serves as the Part Number and Serial Number reference for the registration process of the card on XFX’s website. XFX offers a Double Lifetime Warranty warranting the card for the original user and a second user in case the card gets transferred. This is unique in the industry. There is a Black Edition badge that’s kind of a cool addition along with the adapters to run this card off Molex connectors of the PSU.

ATI releases a new Catalyst driver every month or so offering higher performance, new features and fixing bugs with games that turn up as new games are released. This is a far cry from the days when ATI was rightfully criticized by the online media for substandard drivers but today their drivers are among the best in the business. The Catalyst drivers have an easy to use interface to change the settings of the graphics card.
