Taking off the left side reveals the motherboard tray. The SG04-FH can take all Micro-ATX sized motherboards including those with multiple PCI Express slots. The 3.5” FDD bay is located on the left side attached to the FP I/O. To install the motherboard you need to remove the FDD bay. Removing the side panels involves pulling back on the panel’s and then out away from the case.

SilverStone put two 3.5” HDD racks on the bottom of the case. This position is caused by the fact that the case does not have the room that a Mid-Tower case. There are eight screws that hold the HDDs in place on the HDD rack. The motherboard tray itself has eight standoff positions for Micro-ATX motherboards.

The Power Supply is installed on the right hand side above the HDD cage and next to the rear I/O of the case. Note there is a grill in between the PSU and I/O areas of the case designed for a small fan. The PSU is secured in place by screws and can be installed either upward direction or reverse side direction. The hole on the right side is for SST Clear CMOS buttons, meaning you can clear the CMOS of the case without opening the left side.
