ATI has released new drivers Catalyst 9.10 for their video cards. These new drivers are the first to fully integrate support for the new cards released this month. The new HD 5xxx cards have an additional setting for FSAA allowing the card to SuperSample or MultiSample the rendered image, giving excellent image quality. Sapphire has released drivers based upon this set on 10-20-2009, so they have a good driver turnaround.

Overclock temperature
Using the Catalyst Overdrive utility I was able to push the card to 850MHz for the core and 1460MHz for the memory. This is a 140MHz core clock increase for the card and a 300MHz memory clock increase. Temperatures reached a maximum of 60 degrees Celsius when overclocked and running 3DMark Vantage. This clock speed was totally sustainable with no artifacts.
