The Sapphire HD 5750 Vapor-X card is colored purple like many of Sapphire cards. The length of the card is a little over an inch longer than the PCI Express slot. The card is differentiated from the other HD 5750s by its cooler. The heatsink is shaped like an Intel CPU cooler heatsink. The fan is a large 9-fin fan surrounded by a shroud that looks like a race car with racing stripes.

The back of the card has the Part number and Serial Number stickers. There are four memory chips on the back of the card. The HD5750 Vapor-X card has a total of 1GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 1160MHz with a 128-bit memory bus. This means the card has a total theoretical memory bandwidth of 74.2GB/second. GDDR5 memory has double the effective bandwidth of GDDR3/4 memory.

The back of the card has the 6-pin power connector for the graphics card which requires more than the 150W of power that the PCI Express slot provides to the graphics card. The front of the card has the standard two Dual-Link DVI outputs along with a HDMI output and a DisplayPort output. This offers the widest combination of connections to monitors if adapters are used. Three monitors can be connected to the card if the DisplayPort output is used to connect one of them.
