ID Software has popularized the First Person Shooter genre with many games including Quake, Doom, Return to Castle Wolfenstein and many other games. Their latest game, Wolfenstein, is the sequel to Return to Castle Wolfenstein starring BJ Blackoweitz in a game of science fiction and Nazi intrigue. The HD 5850 plays the game well with 1920x1200 fully playable. Need For Speed Shift is the latest in a long series of games featuring many cars and focusing on simulation racing rather than arcade racing of the other 14 titles in the series. The game features 72 cars that run the gamut from classic to modern cars racing on 18 tracks. This game features an incredible in-car view that allows you to see the driver changing gears, moving the steering wheel and more. The HD 5850 runs this game very well at up to 1920x1200 resolutions. Left 4 Dead is due for a sequel in upcoming weeks. The game is a Survival Horror game like Resident Evil in which you face a wide array of mutated humans that are kind of zombie-like. The game is fully playable on the RADEON HD 5850 card with 4x FSAA and 16x AF playable at 1920x1200 resolution. The HD 5850 and HD 5870 are DX11 class cards and Left 4 Dead is a DX9 class game making it a great experience on this card.
