The first game I tried on the GIGABYTE card was the new historical game Darkest of Days by 8 Monkey Labs. This game postulates what would happen if people change the outcome of past events by removing key people or causing the Germans to lose the Battle of Tannenburg for example. The game played wonderfully on the GIGABYTE with frame rates above 40 fps with PhysX on and 1920x1200 resolution.

Batman is the anti-hero of the DC Universe in many respects. His moniker as the Dark Knight started when he was a young boy and saw his parents murdered in Crime Alley in Gotham City. Batman: Arkham Asylum is the latest game to feature Batman. This game also features support for PhysX effects including realistic damage to walls and realistic smoke effects. The game played great on the GTX260 Super Overclocked card with playable frame rates at maximum resolution and PhysX turned on.

Resident Evil has been one of my favorite survival horror series since it came out on the Playstation game console in 1996. The series continues in Resident Evil 5 where you play as Chris Valentine trying to investigate an outbreak of Majini monsters in Africa. The game has a DirectX 10 mode but is mostly based upon DirectX 9 shaders. The game played great on the GIGABYTE GTX260 Super Overclocked card with high frame rates throughout.
