Gaming on the HD 4850 x2 is little different than gaming on a HD 4870 x2 just with less performance and higher frame rates on the latter card. Darkest of Days is a game which has the player as the role of a time traveler trying to right the timeline as other forces are trying to change history. The game played well on the HD 4850 x2 with high frame rates throughout the game.

Crysis Warhead is the latest installment in the Crysis games. This game is an expansion pack to the original Crysis game which has taxed many a computer system in the last few years. The HD 4850 X2 plays this game wonderfully with 1680x1050 resolutions fully playable throughout. Crysis itself is more of a system hog and plays well on the HD 4850 X2. As we move into 2010, we'll likely see more games with high requirements for the video card and the HD 4850 X2 is a good example of one. FUEL is one of those motorcycle racing games that you either love or hate. The game has a race mode and a free-roaming mode with graphics that are breathtaking. The HD 4850 X2 plays this game flawlessly with no slowdown in frame rate even at the highest resolution and settings. This game can even be played at the maximum FSAA and AF without difficulty on the HD 4850 x2 from Sapphire.
