Rear of card
The card itself is a long card, much like the HD 4870 X2 in length, about 10.5 inches. Sapphire uses a custom cooler with the card. The cooler is a full-length cooler with two 80mm fans on it. Each of the fans cools a single HD 4850 chip. The rear of the card has the Part Number and Serial Number stickers to identify the card to the owner.

The top of the card has a single Crossfire bridge. This card has the ability to Crossfire with another HD 4850 x2 card to provide four graphic chip gaming performance. The side of the card has a single 6-pin and a single 8-pin power connector, as the PCI Express slot does not provide enough power to power two HD 4850 chips at the same time. This card draws up to 230W of power from the PSU.

IO
This is a rather unique card in many respects, not least of which is the ability of this card to drive four monitors at the same time. There are four Dual-Link DVI-I outputs on the bracket I/O. Each of these can drive a single monitor so up to four monitors can be used at the same time with this card. You can also use HDMI HDTVs with an adapter or VGA monitors with this card. There is a S-Video port for HDTVs as well.
