- XFX HD 465X-YAF2 Radeon HD 4650 512MB card
- S-Video cable
- Driver CD
- Quick Install Guide
- XFX Serial Number card
XFX packaged the HD 4650 in one of the smallest boxes for a video card I’ve ever seen. The box front cover has the name of the card, the amount of memory, ATI Stream Technology listed. The rear of the box has a list of the available features of the card, what’s inside the box, and FCC ROHS compliance stickers as well as XFX’s website URL.
Opening the box up, we find that XFX has packaged the card in a anti-static bag with the accessories in a separate box. XFX chose to go the minimalist route with the bundle, including an S-Video cable, the installation guide, a quick start guide, the Serial number sticker, and a sleeve for the Driver CD. This card is targeted at a $50 price point, meaning that the packaging makes a lot of sense.
ATI has been releasing monthly driver drops for several years now since the advent of the Catalyst drivers. The latest Catalyst drivers are the 9.7s. These have a new driver option menu which changes the orientation of the driver menu to a drop-down menu instead of the side menu that was found on earlier Catalyst drivers. XFX has a Lifetime warranty on the HD 4650 card and Toll-Free technical support if you need help with your card.
