The first thing that sprang to mind when viewing the card for the first time was “where’s the rest of the card?” The card is only about an inch longer than the PCI Express x16 slot it rests upon. This makes the card a perfect fit for a small form-factor PC that doesn’t have a large space for a long video card like the HD 4890 x2 card or so.

The card has a 11-fin fan surrounded by a black heatsink covering the graphics chip. The HD 4650 is a small cool running chip and the extra cooling should keep the card running very cool. The HD 4650 draws less than 75W of power, and therefore can be installed in a system without additional power cords running into the PSU, the power provided by the PCI Express slot is enough.
The rear of the graphics card has the four mounting pins for the graphics card cooler. XFX has the Part number and serial number sticker back here as well. The card itself has four memory chips two on the front and two on the back. Each memory chip contains a 1024 Megabit chip bringing the total to 4096 megabits or 512MB of memory (8 bits/byte). The memory is clocked at 800MHz and provides a memory bandwidth of 12.8GB/second (128-bit/8 bits per byte x 800MHz). The card is for the budget-conscious and has a VGA, a DVI-I and a TV-Out output on the Rear I/O.
