The Element T case is a mid-Tower ATX case that has dimensions of 20.7 inches by 8.3 inches by 18.9 inches. It is designed to fit the standard ATX and micro ATX form factor motherboards on the market. One might wonder where Thermaltake gets its name. The T stands for Tactic, Transformable, Titanic, TTXGame Shield, and Transportation.
Tactic stands for the design of the case. Tactically speaking the Thermaltake Element T case has design elements like a micro grilled front of the case and openings for large case fans on the top and sides of the case. Thermaltake says their case is Transformable due to the fact that though there are two fans on the case, two more can be added on the front and side if needed. Titanic stands for 8 HDD spaces including 7 for 3.5" drives and a 2.5" drive bay for SSDs. The TTXGameShield protects things like the mouse and keyboard by forcing the cables for those devices to be integrated into the case. Transportation stands for the thumb screws on the 5.25 and 3.5" drives making for easy removal of the drives at any time.
