Silverstone Raven RV01-BW Case review :: Conclusion

SilverStone says they are targeting this case for the Extreme Enthusiast and it has a plethora of features and innovation for just that crowd. The price tag online is $249.99 as of this writing, making it not for the faint of heart when it comes to those with a light wallet this case is not for you. If you want a case that looks like an F-117 Night Hawk in some ways and has an innovative cooling system that draws the air up and out of the system, the SilverStone Raven RV-01 may just fit the bill. The negatives of this case besides the price are inadequate FP I/O (An external SATA and or two more USB 2.0 ports would have been a great addition), and the fact that you have clearance restrictions with the monitor cords that restrict you from installing a monitor with a DVI to VGA adapter. If you keep in mind the fact that this case is for the extreme enthusiast who most likely has no need for such adapters this is a minor point. A lot of thought process went into this design and its innovative in a few key ways, I give it an Editor's Choice though as only the price is really any solid negative with the new Raven from SilverStone. Any enthusiast will love this case and its feature set.
