One of my favorite movies of the last few years was “Wanted” starring Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy as members of a group of assassins with superhuman senses. The video game based upon the movie was released earlier this year as an action game as a sequel to the game. The game uses the Diesel Engine and plays extremely well on the EVGA GeForce GTX 295 with high frame rates even at 1920x1200 with 4x AA and 16x AF throughout.
Crysis is the game that sets the big boys apart from the wannabes in the video card market. The game plays best on the GeForce GTX 295 with frame rates in the 50s even up to 1650x1080 4x AA 16x AF. If you are looking for the ultimate single card solution for this game a card like EVGA's GeForce GTX 295 fits the bill in spades.
Left 4 Dead was one of the hottest games of 2008 with its survival horror theme and intricate storyline about an infection run amuck in a city. Left 4 Dead is sort of an updated Resident Evil with four survivors all that is left facing a seemingly never-ending supply of Infected. Left 4 Dead uses the latest version of Valve's Source engine, the same engine as found in HL2. The game has multi-core support and physics to show off hair and clothing. The GeForce GTX 295 from EVGA played the game well without slowdown even at maximum settings.
