Seek times are very important as they represent the amount of time it is taking for your drive to retrieve your data and get it to you. Opening up programs, starting games and multitasking are all affected by the read time of a hard drive. The higher the number the better in this test and the SSD cannot be touched here, but the WD AV-GP 2TB drive is right under the enterprise drive the 300GB VelociRaptor. The standard Raptor failed pretty hard in this test, and probably the reason WD discontinued that line. Write times, which can be shown in the chart below, were actually won by the new WD AV-GP 2TB Drive.
