XFX GeForce 275 GTX 896MB DDR3 Core Edition GX 275X-AHFF Review

XFX is a division of Pine Technology Group, a company based in Hong Kong. For many years they have released graphics cards, motherboards and other computer equipment mainly based upon NVIDIA hardware. They have recently branched out into selling graphics cards based upon ATI hardware and Intel motherboards.

NVIDIA released the GeForce GTX 295 earlier this year. This had two GeForce GT200 cores on the same graphics card. When ATI released their HD 4890, NVIDIA decided to compete with the GeForce GTX275 which is based on one of the chips used in the GeForce GTX295 dual GPU card. This brings the advantage of 240 Stream Processors combined with the memory architecture of the GeForce GTX 260 improving performance while costing less than the GeForce GTX 285 to buy. Today's review is on the XFX GeForce GTX 275 Core Edition card.
