The front of the box has the name of the card and a clear window with the heatsink of the card clearly displayed. The Silent CELL logo is on the card in the form of a sticker and on the bosdx in the form of a logo. A sticker showing the 18C lower than reference fansink is also on the sticker and box. The rear of the box shows the main features of the video card including detailed descriptions on SILENT CELL.

Opening the box up we find the card packed in a foam cutout in a cardboard inner box. Under the card is the Driver CD and Manual. Inside the two cardboard cutouts above and below the foam are the accessories included with the video card. A 6-pin to two 4 pin Molex connector is present for the user that doesn't have a modern PSU. A HDMI to DVI adapter allows two HDMI monitors to be installed.

NVIDIA has been releasing new drivers every month or so now. ATI pioneered this practice with their Catalyst driver release which spawned a monthly release cycle. NVIDIA decided to follow suit last year and their latest drivers are the Forceware 185.85 drivers released in May of this year. The 185.85 drivers added support for Ambient Occlusion into the drivers which improves image quality but has a hit to performance.

GIGABYTE includes Gamer HUD Lite with their GV-N96GTSL-1GI card. Gamer HUD Lite shows the clock speeds of the card (Core, Memory, and Shader), the temperature of the card and the usage % of the card. If you want to change the setting simply uses the slide or the arrow of the clock speed. Using Gamer HUD I was able to overclock the GV-N96TSL-1GI card to 696MHz/1696MHz/ 940MHz for the Core/Shader/Memory clock which is a nice improvement over the default clocks. Temperatures reached 73C when overclocked running 3DMark06, which is only 1C higher than at default clocks running the same benchmark.
