Opening the case side, we find there's plenty of room for installation of the motherboard. While the case doesn't have a removable motherboard tray it is designed to fit extended ATX, ATX or Micro ATX motherboards. One nice touch is the interior of the case is painted all black just like the exterior of the case.
The drive bays are all accessible to the front by removal of the two HDD racks and the 120mm fans on each HDD rack. Two four bay HDD enclosures are included with the case, allowing up to 8 total 3.5" drives to be installed in the case taking up the place of six 5.25" drive bays (three for each rack.) A 120mm or 140mm fan can be installed in front of each HDD rack. An especially nice touch is the ability to use thumbscrews to hold the drives into place. This is in contrast to the usual installation method of using a screwdriver to install it.
The rear of the case has 7 PCI Expansion slots. Above those expansion slots are two holes for water cooling tubing with rubber Grommets instead of cutouts. A 120mm fan is located above the IO area to cool the CPU. The motherboard tray itself has raised platforms that alleviate the need for standoffs. Mount the motherboard, insert the standoffs where you want and screw the motherboard in.
