Tom Clancy's HAWX is the latest game from Ubisoft, the makers of such games as Far Cry and Assassin's Creed. Tom Clancy as you might know wrote a series of military techno thriller books in the 1980s and 1990s. HAWX is an aerial combat game with a variety of aircraft and other targets. The game is one of the first to support DirectX 10.1 and was playable with 4x AA 16x AF at 1280x1024 on the MSI card.
Far Cry 2 is the sequel to one of the first games to use Pixel Shaders, Far Cry. You take the role of one of several mercenaries in an African country. The game uses a new graphics engine which utilizes DirectX 10 Pixel Shaders to show off the water, vegetation, animal life and other visuals in the game. The R4770 plays this game well with 1280x1024 4x AA 16x AF totally playable. Sacred 2 is an action RPG in the vein of Diablo 2 and Dungeon Siege. The graphics engine of the game uses DirectX 9.0 features like Pixel Shader 3 and support for PhysX in cards that have NVIDIA chipsets on them. You can play the game without PhysX on the HD 4770 but the game is a different experience with PhysX turned on. The game played well on the HD 4770.
