The MSI R4770 card is a 2-slot solution, meaning that you need to have two free slots on the motherboard to install the card. The front of the PCB has a high efficiency cooling solution that combines a heatsink, a heat pipe and fans to cool the graphics chip. The fan is very quiet during operation with very little noise observed.

The top of the card has two Crossfire bridges, allowing the card to operate in 2, 3, or even 4-way Crossfire mode if the motherboard supports it and there are four cards installed. A single 6-pin power connector is located on the rear of the front PCB. The RV740 chip requires up to 80W of power, which is more than the 75W provided by the R4770.
