I spent over a week toying around with this unit and was impressed with everything other than the crummy iMON software that is being used to use the Media Center remote control, as plainly it sucks and is almost worthless. Media Center systems usually run Windows Media Center and the remote control already does works(within limits of course) in that environment, but the iMON software seems to be buggier than an ant hill and never seemed to get configured correctly. Windows Vista Media Center was never able to be setup to what I consider accurate or user friendly. This has really more to do with poor to none support from iMON and not Thermaltake themselves, but it has to be addressed in the review to be fair.
The DH-104 meets and exceeds my expectations to what a High-End HTPC enclosure is all about and I was very impressed with the features and overall design of this enclosure. If you are looking for something, out of the ordinary and bordering more toward the extraordinary HTPC enclosure, the Thermaltake DH-104 fits the bill across the board. This is the creme de la creme of HTPC enclosure market and I can highly recommend it to anyone who values quality of manufacturing and excellent design as their modus operandi when deciding on what to buy. The price is a whopping $400.00, but when you consider all the features of the unit and its touch screen panel, it's really a matter of how much excellence you're willing to spend. This is a definite Editor's Choice product and one of the best HTPC enclosures I have yet to see. Good job Thermaltake!
