The front 200mm fan has a LED on/off switch. The design of the case is similar to the HAF 932 with military rugged looks. The case has a tool-less drive design that is very popular.

The case came in a Red box with the name HAF 922 on one side. Shipping caused the case box to be damaged. On the other side of the case is a list of the features of the case including the inside the box the three 200mm fans, the extreme airflow and the 7+1 PCI expansion slots. Pictures of each feature are also included allowing for the purchaser of the case to get a good grasp of the case. Opening the case box we find that Cooler Master has protected the case with two Styrofoam end pieces and a plastic bag. This is typical and protects the case against damage during shipping.

Cooler Master HAF 922 Case Review Bundle

The bundle itself is rather mundane with the usual assortment of screws and standoffs to mount the motherboard and fans. Note that since the drive installation is tool-less there are less screws than if the case required screws to mount the optical drives or HDDs. Cooler Master also includes two 3.5" to 5.25" drive rails to install a FDD into the 3.5" to 5.25" bay adapter. A buzzer and cable ties complete the bundle. Cable ties promote proper wire management inside the case.
