MSI N260GTX Lightning Black Edition Video Card Review

As the GTX260 is a pretty balanced video card in the scheme of things against the competition from ATI and other cards in this price range, the MSI card would logically be a faster version of that card. The card easily overclocked to the highest level I've ever seen on a GeForce GTX260 216 core card including the Superclocked and Black Edition cards from other manufacturers. Performance was as to be expected from a faster card in this category. MSI's packaging of a hardware overclocking device was a great addition to the bundle allowing the casual overclocker the option of overclocking with the push of a button. The cost of this card is running around $279.99 online, making it one of the more expensive GTX 260 cards on the market but also the fastest on the market accounting for the pricing difference. As of today MSI has officially released their new unlock feature of their overclocking device and this should enable hardcore overclockers some additional power out of their cards. This card is most certainly the best 260 we have seen yet and deserves an Editor's Choice Award.
