The Last Remnant is the latest game from Square Soft the makers of Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger along with others. TLR uses the Unreal Engine 3 graphics engine. The game makes liberal use of High Dynamic Range Lighting and anti-aliasing throughout. The GeForce GTS 250 from EVGA plays this game with aplomb with high frame rates in every scene.

FEAR 2 is the sequel to the highly scary FEAR game that was released a couple of years ago. The game uses a modified version of the original engine that powered F.E.A.R... The game uses textured volumetric rendering and Havok physics to show off particles and destructive effects on walls. FEAR 2 runs great on the GeForce GTS 250 from EVGA with frame rates in the high 40s-50s throughout the game.

Mirror's Edge is a game by DICE a division of Electronic Arts. It stars your character as a “Runner” while trying to accomplish goals. The game makes liberal use of NVIDIA's PhysX technology with smoke, destruction, wind, cloth and many other effects throughout the game. Playing the game with PhysX on in the menu but disabled on the graphics card driver caused a nearly unplayable experience. With PhysX on in both driver and game the game was totally playable.
