Cooler Master says that the Sniper design is inspired by the military weapons like a sniper scope. A large portion of the case is covered in mesh grills. The front of the case has a mesh grill for the fan that looks like a sniper scope target. The top of the case has a ribbed handle with mesh grill that looks like the barrel of a rifle. The right side panel has a meshed window that allows you to see inside the case but also should allow for good cooling for the CPU and graphics card. You can fit a 200mm fan on this side panel or two 120mm fans to keep the side of the case cool. The left side of the case has a solid side with the CM Storm logo. The Front Panel IO is located on the top front of the case. There are four USB 2.0 ports, a Firewire port, an eSATA port, the Power button, the Reset button, a fan control knob, the Microphone and Speaker FP IO jacks, Power LED and HDD LEDs. This is comprehensive enough for even the most hardcore gamer, as more expensive cases don't have more. There are five 5.25" drive bays on the front with a 3.5" adapter in the bottom most bay. The rear of the case is well suited for water cooling with two holes on the top and two cut-outs on the side of the bottom mounted PSU. If you want to install tubes through the side or the top the holes are there. Next to the IO area is a 120mm fan mounting grill. Below the IO are 7 PCI holes for expansion slots. Next to the PCI slots is an eighth PCI cover. This is where you can route cables through the back of the case. The bottom of the case has four feet that rotate out to stabilize the case. The bottom also has a grill where the bottom mounted PSU is installed.
