SilenX iXtrema Pro IXG-80HA2 with Fan kit Review

The standard graphics card has a heatsink and fan assembly. While it is sufficient for cooling at default temperatures, the hardcore enthusiast in all of us want higher clock speeds and lower temperatures and will do almost anything to get the desired result. The other consideration is silent running graphics cards which require a passive heatsink to run really silently.

SilenX is committed to building the quietest solutions on the market for graphics cards, CPU Coolers, and other computer cooling equipment. They were founded in 1995 and are based in Southern California. Recently they sent over a SilenX iXtrema Pro IXG-80HA2 cooling heatsink with optional XG3F2 Fan for review and that is the unit on the test bench today.
