The first thing that sticks out at you when you get the box is the innovative X shaped box the card comes in. The X shaped box is too thin to have the card in the normal length position so it's laid out diagonally. Opening the box was as hard as the other X-shaped boxes from XFX. The outer sleeve has slots through which tabs are inserted forming the box. The inner two boxes slide out from each other.

Bundle

The upper section of the box contains the accessories, the user guides and the other amenities of the bundle. The inclusion of a DVI to HDMI adapter allows you to use a HDMI monitor with the card. The DVI to D-Sub adapter allows the use of a CRT with analog connection. The usual "Do Not Disturb" door hanger is included which has the card serial number. I would suggest using the latest Catalyst 9.4 drivers instead of the Driver CD ones which are currently 9.21 modified to install on a HD 4890. Overclocking the card hit a wall at 950/1105 core/memory on the test bench.

XFX offers what they call 5-star support for their graphics cards. The cornerstones of their support are Support Central, Support Files, Message Boards, Live Help and a Ticket system. Once you register your card with the Serial Number on the door hanger you have access to the best performing drivers, help guides, Multi-language support and RMA handling. They offer a Double Lifetime Warranty on their video cards which means that they will repair or replace cards found to be defective for the lifetime of the card and the warranty will transfer to the second owner of said card assuming you register the card.
